Change-over cleaning


B. Changeover clean - ensure that your property is presented at its best for you or your arriving guests.


Bathrooms – all surfaces cleaned, bath / shower & sink sparkling, toilet cleaned, mirrors cleaned, floors mopped.


OPTIONAL EXTRAS: 1 toilet freshener & 1 toilet roll per loo, 1 hand pump soap per sink, and 1 pack of tissues per person (in bedrooms).


Kitchen – all surfaces cleaned, fridge emptied of consumables (when applicable) and cleaned inside and out, clean small kitchen appliances, floor swept and mopped. Any obvious breakages can be replaced as necessary from your stocks.


OPTIONAL EXTRA: kitchen starter pack - 1 kitchen roll, 1 bottle washing up liquid, dishcloth, sponge, and 8 dishwasher tablets


Bedrooms – all surfaces dusted, polished, floors hoovered / swept / mopped as appropriate (including under beds), all required beds made up and towels left as per your specification (ie. towel type and quantity per person)


Communal areas – all surfaces dusted, polished and floors hoovered / swept / mopped as appropriate, open fires (if provided) laid/set if required, rooms presented to welcome your guests, windows (inside and out) cleaned of any obvious marks, full window cleaning can be done on request (eg. spring and/or autumn).


General – whilst we are working in your property we can (on request) check that all light bulbs are working, and change any necessary from your stock of replacements. Or we can source the bulbs ourselves and charge at cost. We could also test any smoke detectors and replace batteries as required. Minor DIY problems can usually be dealt with at the time, and any more serious problems will be noted for your consideration.


You may add your own personal touches for your guests to welcome them. A bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge, tea/coffee/milk/sugar “starter” packs, a selection of appropriate magazines, a fresh fruit basket, or a vase of flowers are just some of the little extras we can supply.


Please note that any cleaning of windows or changing of light bulbs (both externally & internally) will depend on safe access being possible.


The price you pay will be based on your property size/type, and will be for the duration of the cleaning period.


Contract Changeover Cleaning


This option is ideal if you are planning to let the property out during the winter season, or use it yourselves / lend it to friends and family for a minimum of 12 weeks throughout the winter season, with the same changeover day each week. Prices will be based on your specific property and will be for the duration of the cleaning – not an hourly rate.
